We’re looking for a Software Engineer to ship the MVP of a new product.

Responsibilities

You’ll work directly with the founder. You’ll be responsible for developing the product, adding new features and ensuring the code works well in production.

Hours

This is an independent contract role.

Hours are flexible, it’s expected that you put in atleast 20 hours a week with atleast a few hours every week day.

What you will be doing

Here’s some things you will tackle in your first few months

• Write high quality code and automated tests for the core features of the product
• Integrate Google Auth as an alternative to signing in / registering on the platform
• Create landing pages using TailwindUI components

What you will need to succeed

• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with software development best practices, including TDD
• 3+ years backend experience in Ruby on Rails. Ruby on Rails will be the core framework we use so you will need to be both comfortable and interested in working on it.
• Experience with working with frontend
